What is a Virtual R*n?

One of the best things about virtual r*ns is that anyone can take part, wherever they are in the world. (Which is perfect for our international / homeless kennel!)

If you’ve never done a virtual run before, here is more information:

Virtual running, also known as a virtual race, is an event that can be run at any location at any time at any pace. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or you can participate in another 'real-world' race. It's completely up to you! You can run your race at your own pace wherever and whenever you like.

Our Virtual R*ns:

Six times a year (in the odd-numbered months of the year) we offer international Virtual R*ns as a way for hashers to be more actively involved with the kennel (regardless of where they live) as well as meet fellow kennel members around the world.

(Virtual R*ns are different from our Tyrant Trails and each series will be numbered accordingly/separately.)

Our international virtual r*ns are dog-friendly and kid-friendly (you're never too young to make bad decisions!) so our default distance for the Virtual R*ns is one mile – just in case anyone wants to involve the kiddos. You are welcome to do any distance you'd like for your trail. We are also inclusive of hashers who do not drink alcohol.

Kids are welcome on our virtual trails and do not need to rego, unless they want to receive tags and earn demerit patches.

Kennel members will earn a special demerit badge for every 10 Virtual R*ns they rego for / participate in, as well as 'perfect attendance' demerit badges for each series of 10 trails (photos below).
